Ibelegbo Chidinma, a pastor of the RCCG, claimed she was abducted by herdsmen
- The pastor was one of the five people abducted on their way to a conference
- The victim said sneaked away to safety after her abductors fell asleep
One of the rescued pastors of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Ibelegbo Chidinma, has allegedly accused herdsmen of being behind her abduction.
According to Vanguard , the female pastor who is a deaconess from Abia State, RCCG Province 3 reportedly gave a testimony at the Redemption Camp during the ongoing Ministers Conference on Saturday, August 3.

She reportedly said those who abducted her were herdsmen and that she prayed to God for help.
Chidinma reportedly said her captors fell asleep which allowed her to sneak out of their den to safety.
Recall that the Ogun state police command disclosed that it rescued the four remaining members of the RCCG who were abducted by kidnappers on Thursday, August 1.
Abimbola Oyeyemi, the spokesperson for the command on Saturday, August 3, said the four persons were rescued unhurt.
Reports about the rescue of the four persons was sequel to an earlier report that a female victim, Ibelegbo Chidinma, was rescued unhurt.
"Update on kidnap case: The remaining four victims have been rescued unhurt by men of Ogun state police command. Details shortly,” Oyeyemi said.
A tweet on the twitter handle of the Nigerian police also confirmed the release of the kidnapped victims.

The police have rescued all the victims abducted along J3 Area of Ogbere on their way to Lagos, yesterday. The CP will be holding a press briefing soon at his Abeokuta office. IGP thanks Nigerians for their massive support to the Police, commends Police operatives,” the tweet read.
