Crystal Palace vs Manchester City's Premier League match ended 3-1 in favor of the Citizens.


Raheem Sterling scored two goals for Manchester City, while Gabriel Jesus also netted.Manchester City are now topping the Premier League standings with 83 points

Reigning Premier League champions Manchester City on Sunday, April 14, returned to the top of the League standings after beating Crystal Palace 3-1.

England international Raheem Sterling was superb for the Citizens scoring two of the three goals that gave Manchester City the maximum three points.

Crystal Palace started the match impressive knowing that a win in this encounter would boost their hopes of playing in the Premier League next season.


Wilfried Zaha almost opened the scoring for the hosts in the 9th minutes when he was set up by Christian Benteke, but his shot was punched away by goalkeeper Ederson.

Two minutes later, it was the turn of Manchester City as David Silva delivered a clever pass for Sergio Aguero whose shot went over the bar.



Manchester City scored their first goal in the 15th minute through Raheem Sterling who was assisted by Kevin De Bruyne as the the first half ended 1-0 in favor of the Citizens.


Pep Guardiola's men scored their second goal in the 63rd minute through Raheem Sterling again, and this time around, it was Leroy Sane who assisted.

Crystal Palace reduced the scoreline in the 81st minute through Luka Milivojevic, and they were anxiously looking for another goal before Gabriel Jesus scored the winner for Manchester City at the death.
